Manawatu is home to Manfeild and Roberston Holden Raceways, and, in Feilding, the Coach House Museum can wile away an afternoon into yesteryear, or you can take
a guided tour around the incredible Feilding Saleyards, the only sale yards
in New Zealand to hold such tours, We also have the Friday Farmers’ Market in
The Square.
Down the road in Palmerston North, take in the ballet, or a show at the beautiful and elegant Regent Theatre, or, a tour around Te Manawa Museum and Art Gallery, and the world-famous Rugby Museum.
Manawatu is also home to world-class educational facilities like Massey University, International Pacific College and the University College of Learning.
Theatres, shopping, cafes and the beautiful Esplanade cannot be missed.
Manawatu has born and bred a number of top-level athletes now in the Black Sticks, Black Caps, Olympic and Commonwealth sports teams to name but a few, and also we are the home of the Turbos and All Blacks’ two Aarons!
